Criterion Carriage & Clearances Ltd
Clearing a property of the contents can seem daunting, whether due to bereavement or downsizing.
Criterion provide a full house clearance service whether there are items you wish to sell at auction or not.
Firstly, our removal team will professionally and respectfully remove all contents back to our saleroom. Then our expert team of valuers will go through each and every item, consigning to the most suitable sale, and disposing of the unsaleable to either charity or waste disposal.
This is a complete start to finish service where after assessing the size of the job we ask for a deposit to secure the date and the costs of clearance can be offset by the sale of the goods (if applicable) and the residual paid to you after our selling charges have been applied.
We have many years of experience in this field and you can be assured we will endeavour to secure the very best prices for your items at our auctions.
From initial site visit and consultation through to clearance, the valuation and sale of items, we can take care of the entire process. Whether a small terraced house, a village cottage, a suburban semi or apartment to a country manor we’ll take the same exceptional level of care. Over the years we’ve uncovered valuable finds in the most unexpected places – tucked away in an unused draw or hidden in an attic corner – and gone on to realise the best possible price on behalf of the vendor at auction.
Whether you’re acting on behalf of a client or are a private individual Criterion will arrange a free, no obligation appointment at the property. Confidential, professional advice on the house clearance process is then given; whether you’re looking to remove specific items or clear an entire property. This allows you to make an informed decision on which house clearance service option is right for you.
